Me!  Yippee, I won.  My song of choice will kick off this year’s Chicago Half Marathon.  The song I picked is my go to song when I am struggling to finish a run, not to mention it is almost impossible for me to not do my stomping song when I hear it (despite my husbands displeasure with it).  I listened to this song over and over and over and over the last 3 miles of the Rock and Roll Marathon.  I hope all the runners enjoy my pick, but really how can you not love a song with lyrics like this…

Sorrow is an angel that comes to you in blue light
and shows you what is wrong just to see if you’ll set it right
and I’ve f#%@ed up so many times in my life —
that I want to get it right this time.

Or this…
Sometimes I get so afraid of life
I’m not afraid of death
I’m scared of going through this thing twice

Give it a listen yourself, I can’t imagine you wouldn’t want to dance, or run, or both.

Thanks to everyone that voted for me!
