FRIED GREEN TOMATO
It was epic! Bonus, we finally mastered the fried green tomato. The trick, salting the slices and letting them between two paper towels. First dredge the tomato slices in flour (seasoned with smoked paprika and chili powder), then egg and milk mixture, and finally a corn meal and bread crumb mixture. It helped that we fried them in the bacon drippings.
THIS. This made for a great Saturday night chilling out at home with the family.
