We’ve selected this remarkable artisanal salt for its unique texture, flavor and character. Fumee de Sel has a savory oak flavor with a hint of sweetness.

Pros: Flavorful, Unique
Best Uses: Finishing
Describe Yourself: Health Conscious, Simple Tastes

Picked this up on a recent visit to NYC. I do not consider myself a salt fiend, but this looked interesting. It is fantastic. The perfect finish on just about everything; omelet, roasted veggies, salad, cheese toast, you name it. The flavor is so robust, a little goes a long way.

I think that would be fabulous. Salty sweet, num num. Reminds me of the recipe in this months Food & Wine, tequila-spiked popcorn!
