Well That Explains It

Posted on May 27, 2010September 10, 2012 by Jacky Hackett
It seems I have Fifth’s disease.  That explains how I have been feeling.  It also explains the red face the three year-old was sent home with.  We assumed it was heat rash or sunburn.  It has been going around the neighborhood and I have been around plenty of people who have had it.  The unfortunate thing, you don’t really know you have it until you break out with a rash.  By the time you have a rash, you are no longer contagious.  I broke out in a rash on legs this weekend.  I chalked it up to the heat and the fact I was working in the yard.  I atrributed my achy body as a sign I was perhaps over doing my runs.
I am feeling about 50% better today.  Let’s hope I am back to 100% by Saturday’s Soldier Field 10 Miler.  At least I am not contagious.  Well, not anymore anyway.

Oh my goodness, well feel better. My sister and all of the kids along with her entire neighborhood got it last summer. Not fun. Take care!

Thanks! I do feel better today. The lower back feels like a million bucks, now for the pain in my neck and shoulders to subside.
