My dad gave me a disk of pictures from his days in the Air Force. Actually I think they were slides. But anyway, they are awesome photos. There are some from his travels, I am not sure where The sites are, but I love how dressed up everyone got. There are a few of his barracks and how he spent his R and R time. There are even pictures of my parents wedding. He was in very few pictures, obviously since he was the photographer. I think maybe that is why, of all of the almost 300 pictures on the disk, this one is by far my favorite. I love that you can see the shadow of him taking the picture. A great self-portrait!
