Ringing in the New Year is always a chilly event in Chicago.
Though never too cold to visit the beach.
Before I knew it, it was time to put my winter training to the test at the Shamrock Shuffle.
We got a break from the cold on our West Coast vacation.
But first, a quick girls trip to Minnesota.
We managed to find time for a great date night.
Before we knew it it was softball season again.
May was a blur, 75% travel month for my husband and a trip to San Francisco for myself.
Kicked off summer with a favorite race a few weeks later, Soldier Field 10 miler.
June brought a 10th birthday.
This summer we had our first experience at The Feast. What fun!
While Jeff We hit up the beach for the weekend with friends.
Some rock-n-roll, half-marathon that is.
Back to the beach, for a week this time.
Vacation was ended with a few days with cousins.
Man time flies when you are having fun, back to school!
Made the most of the final days of Summer with sailing trip, we could not have had a better day.
The kids headed to Michigan with Dad while the running crew took on the Chicago half-marathon.
After many years we finally got ourselves to a MSU football tailgate.
We had our annual fall block party, which of course means tie dye!
The youngest turned four.
10th annual Hackoween was as fun as ever.
Halloween was not far behind.
We were all together for Thanksgiving this year.
The end of the year included a birthday dinner to remember.
Holidays full of family, friends, and too much fun!
Hard to believe another year is behind us. Even more amazing to look back at all the things we’ve done this is only the highlights. A great year, let’s hope 2011 is even better!

I love that photo too. Sunset on the beach is the best part of our vacations. That is Andrew in the yellow. He is doing great. Home from school now with one or two classes to graduate in May. Hope you have a wonderful New Year!
