Kelly’s Krab Dip

Posted on April 25, 2010June 5, 2021 by Jacky Hackett
An easy dip my sister introduced to me, of course I always have to call or text her to make sure I am not leaving anything out. I think it is because it is so easy, that I figure I must be missing something.
You can make it as spicy or not as you wish. I made it last Friday to bring to my daughter’s softball game. I substituted a 1/2 poblano pepper for the jalapeno to omit the spice since kids would likely be eating it. It is an easy low fat appetizer.

Kelly’s Krab Dip

1/2 large onion
1 jalapeno
2 – 8 oz. packages imitation crab
1/2 cup reduced fat mayonnaise

Cut onion into quarters.

Cut jalapeƱo in half, remove seeds if you like.

Pulse onion and jalapeno in food processor until finely chopped.

Add crab and process until finely chopped.

Stir in mayo. Serve with Ritz crackers or tortilla chips.
