Happy Peanut Butter Day

Posted on January 24, 2012November 2, 2020 by Jacky Hackett

I’d celebrate peanut butter any day in fact I started my day with a PB&J.  The internet tells me that today marks National Peanut Butter Day.  Here are suggestions for celebrating…

These peanut butter bars are a good start.  If you want to splurge and want something really sweet try the peanut butter and corn chips.  Can’t go wrong with peanut butter and corn chips.  There is also the peanut butter blossoms, they could not be easier to make.  Or celebrate in style and go hog-wild and try these banana chocolate chip with peanut butter frosting and topped with bacon.

If you are not up for cooking simply order some homemade peanut butter in great flavors like honey pretzel and cinnamon raisin.  It is delicious and best of all natural.

I am going to keep it simple and have a little snack of ants on a log.  Happy Peanut Butter day!

My favorite is PB, banana and lettuce sandwich on wheat toast. With a glass of skim milk that has been in the freezer for 20 minutes. Try it.

That actually sounds good, I will have to give that a try.

Our peanut butter tends to hide in a cupboard and I forget that it is there. We were just talking about that this weekend. I do love it though. . .
