Last month at the garden tour of Rick Bayless’ garden I learned about a really cool green space project on the rail line that borders his yard, The Bloomingdale Trail. The idea is to build a linear park on the now unused railroad tracks. Very cool!

The YMCA of which I was the board chairman for many years is at the end of the Bloomindale Trail. We are all hoping it gets completed some day.
